Class styles
We offer a wide range of yoga and meditation classes to suit everyone from beginner to intermediate.
Restorative
SUNDAY & FRIDAY | 1 hour
Calm the mind and body with this soothing Restorative Yoga class. Restorative yoga poses require no muscular exertion; each pose is held for several minutes and deeply supported by props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks.
During the class, you will be guided to mindfully and consciously notice thoughts and sensations in your body. Students leave feeling nourished, well rested and refreshed; with a new cultivated awareness and clarity. Guided Mindfulness Meditation is also incorporated throughout the class. No yoga or meditation experience is needed and all levels are welcome.
Students often ask, what is the difference between Restorative Yoga and other floor based practices?
Restorative Yoga is supported with props, is mindful and gentle while Yin Yoga explores the skeletal structure via a more anatomical yet passive approach.
Vinyasa
MONDAY & TUESDAY | 1 hour
Designed to integrate mindfulness, flexibility & strength all in one. All levels welcome.
Vinyasa Flow
TUESDAY | 1 hour
In our Vinyasa Flow class you will synchronise breath with movement.
Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. In a Vinyasa class, students awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere.
Yin + Meditation
SATURDAY | 1 hour + 15 minutes
A longer Yin Yoga class aimed at ensuring time is preserved for meditation.
Yin Yoga is great for reducing stress in the body and mind. Holding poses without distraction for several minutes, it teaches us to relax, potentially beginning to release tension that is held deeply… ingrained in our muscles and fascia tissue closest to the joints, and woven amongst the entire body.
Everybody can do Yin Yoga and everyone can benefit, you are encouraged to use props and make adjustments especially for those with decreased range of motion or injury as well as seniors.
Beginners Gentle
MONDAY, TUESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY | 1 hour
Gentle Yoga is the ideal class to join if you’re new to Yoga, or returning to your Yoga practice after a break. A slower paced class, guiding you safely through a Hatha Style sequence.
In this beginner’s flow class, you will learn how to develop a safe and rewarding yoga practice. Moving slowly through the poses that you typically encounter in a flow yoga class, you will be allowed time to understand the basic alignment principles and learn modifications that suit your body.
This class will suit beginners and those wishing to refine their practice. Gentle movements of the body with lots of focus on breath work.
Men’s Classes
SUNDAY | 1 hour
This class is created especially for the fellas, and focuses on some of the basic challenges that guys can be faced with, such as flexibility in certain areas of the body.
If you’re looking for a safe, non-judgy environment, then we have you covered. Beginner level for men to explore the benefits of Yoga and learn the foundations. A vinyasa style class with pace and strength building sequences, this class weaves movement, strength and mindfulness into one.
Qi-Gong
WEDNESDAY | 1 hour
Qigong (chee-gong) is exercise for the “Energy Body”. It is a “Moving Meditation” which helps to promote mental-emotional balance, inner harmony and mental clarity.
Based on the principle of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it acknowledges that your body is an energy system interconnected with everything in the universe and your health and well being results from living in harmony with the elements of nature.
